Jay Fukuto Executive Producer Jay Fukuto began his career in the television industry in 1982 at Paramount Pictures Network Television; supervising such classic primetime series as “Happy Days”, “Laverne & Shirley” and “Family Ties”. He would then go on to oversee development and current production for UBU Productions working on such primetime series as “Duet”, “Day By Day” and “The Bronx Zoo”
Jay’s first position in the animation industry came in 1992, as Director, Current Programming for Walt Disney Television Animation. He was promoted to VP, current programming in 1995. He would be responsible for such animated series as “Gargoyles” and “The Lion King’s Timon and Pumbaa”. In 1997, Jay was named Senior VP of MGM Animation where he would meet and work with Paul Sabella and Jonathan Dern. While at MGM, he was in charge of such animated series as “All Dogs Go To Heaven: The Series” and “Robocop: Alpha Commando” and direct to video movies including “The Secret of NIMH II” and “Tom Sawyer”. During the next 10 years Jay would return to Walt Disney Television Animation as VP, Creative Affairs; become VP, Entertainment at MGA Entertainment; and then Head of Production for Film Roman which would then lead to Head of Studio in 2008, producing such noteworthy series as “The Simpsons”, “King of the Hill”, “Beavis & Butthead” and “The Avengers”.
In July 2011 Jay stepped down from Film Roman to start his own production company, Hinklemeyer Productions, specializing in quality family entertainment and is currently partnered with SD Entertainment during this venture.

Paul Sabella Co-Founder Sabella is one of the most respected directors/designers/producers in animation today.
His credits are extensive, spanning the worlds of television, direct-to-video, feature
films, commercials and interactive games. His expertise in a mulitude of genres brings a non-traditional perspective to SD Entertainment. Sabella started SD in 1999 with animation executive Jonathan Dern,with whom Sabella had previously co-founded MGM Animation. Together, they have produced and directed and unprecedented body of work, becoming one of the only producing teams currently working in both animated television series and feature films. At MGM, their credits included "All Dogs go to Heaven" (TV Series and Theatrical release), "Robocop: Alpha Commando", "The Lionhearts", "Tom Sawyer", "Babes in Toyland", "The Secret of NIMH 2: Timmy to the Rescue" and "The Pebble and the Penguin".
In addition to traditional animation, while at MGM, Sabella oversaw many specialty projects including the video series "MGM Sing-Alongs"; IBM's hugely popular (over 1 million sold!) "The Adventures of Hyperman"; hit direct-to-video shorts "The Rainbow Fish" and "Dazzle the Dinosaur"; and Time Warner's six-video series, "The Beginner's Bible".
Prior to teaming with Dern, Sabella was Senior Vice President at Hanna-Barbera, responsible for all aspects of television animation production as well as Executive Producer of "Fish Police", "Tom and Jerry Kids" and "Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventures" He also produced Hanna -Barbera's Emmy Award-nominated "The Smurfs" and "Foofur". His earlier credits include serving as Animation Director and Animator of Heavey Metal's "Captain Stern" sequence in addition to working on various other animation productions.

Jonathan Dern Co-Founder Dern co-founded Sabella Dern Entertainment (SD) in 1999 with highly respected animation producer/director Paul Sabella. Previously, Dern and Sabella founded MGM Animation and since its inception SD has become one of the most respected companies in animation today. Dern has spearheaded television series, direct-to-video, feature films, commercials and interactive properties simultaneously. At SD Dern focuses his energies on forming strategic alliances with entities as diverse as studios, broadcast and cable networks and Internet program providers. Before teaming with Sabella, Dern was an Associate Producer at DIC Enterprises/Rainforest Entertainment, as well as Imagine Entertainment and Universal Pictures. He began his career as a Motion Picture Literary department assistant at the William Morris Agency. In addition to his leadership role at SD Entertainment, Mr. Dern is the President and co-founder of Cinedigm's Content and Entertainment Group, the world leader in digital theatrical distribution of targeted entertainment.

Carol Monroe Executive Producer Carol is responsible for both the acquisition and development of new intellectual properties, as well as production on existing series, for SD Entertainment. Prior to joining SD, Carol served as Executive Producer and head of the Entertainment Division of the Hasbro Properties Group, where she produced numerous television shows and direct-to-video movies based on the toy company's legendary brands, including Transformers, GI Joe, My Little Pony, Action Man, Tonka and CandyLand. As Senior Vice President of Programming and Development, she was integral in the success of Fox Kids Worldwide, then the #1 children's' television network. In that capacity, Carol was responsible for 19 hours of original programming every week, including such hits as Power Rangers, Spiderman, X-Men and Goosebumps. Earlier, Carol was Vice-President of Steven Spielberg's Amblin Television, where she produced Fudge and Harry and the Hendersons, and was involved in the development and production of ER, Animaniacs, Tiny Toon Adventures, Back to the Future and Fievel's American Tales. She earlier worked on the feature side of Amblin, on films ranging from Land Before Time to Arachnophobia.

Davis Doi Director Doi joined SD Entertainment in 2002 as a director. Well known and regarded throughout the animation world, Doi has worked with and/or for virtually every network in the kids business, including ABC, Cartoon Network, TNT, BBC, CBS, Hallmark Entertainment, Marvel Productions, and many more. Prior to SD, Doi was Supervising Producer and Head of Studio Operations for Hanna-Barbera Productions. When Hanna-Barbera merged with Warner Bros., Doi produced, wrote, and directed four "Scooby Doo" direct-to-video features, including; "Scooby Doo on Zombie Island."
Doi began his animation career in 1978 as an Assistant Animator for Ralph Bakshi's feature films, "Lord of the Rings" and "American Pop".

Clarise Cameron Producer Clarise has been a part of the SD family for more than 10 years, helping to produce and manage such Features as The Care Bears “Oopsy Does It”, “Dinotopia: Quest for the Ruby Sunstone “and “Hydee and Hytops: The Movie”. She also led the TV Series Productions for “Make Way for Noddy”, “Care Bears: Adventures in Care-A-Lot” and “Angelina Ballerina: The Next Steps”. Prior to coming to SD, Clarise had been in Animation for 6 years starting her career at Hanna-Barbera working on such shows as “Captain Planet” and “The New Adventures of Jonny Quest”; then moving on to such studios as Universal Cartoons, DIC and MGM Animation where she had previously worked with Paul Sabella and Jonathan Dern on the series “The Lionhearts”.

John Bigler Production Accountant John has been in the field of production accounting for close to twenty years. He has worked for such storied movie studios as MGM, Columbia, and Warner Bros., on films as diverse as “Space Jam”, “The Vertical Limit” and “Eight Crazy Nights” John has now been at SD Entertainment for the past 8 years, thrilled to be working with Paul Sabella and Jonathan Dern.
